My sock loom tool kit fits in this slim tin, but has everything needed to make (or fix!) socks-on-the-loom.

tin with royal blue decoration.
The box itself has a history; it originally held a sugar cake, credited with saving lives, in former times, on Everest, before Everest was destroyed as a tourist destination. Now mine saves socks!
Here is the list of tools:
From the top, the photo shows the closed Kendal Mint Cake tin; left, four large eye needles on a gray piece of felt; right of that a small mint tin holding green stitch markers and point protectors; an Allen wrench; a small green crochet hook with pointed end; center, two double pointed needles; two long, large stitch pins; a blue pen; a metal ruler marked in imperial and metric; a compact, but very sharp, pair of scissors.
Here it all is, fitted into the tin:

Very compact! And, as it happens, the tin and tools form a handy base for my sock loom craft bag:

Shown in all of its golden glory. (Details of the craft bag here.)
