I ran across this little gadget at Red Stone Glen. Annie, who helpfully watches the shop, enthused about it.
Though Annie’s advice is always excellent, I had my doubts. My sewing room is littered with useless needle threaders.
I needn’t have worried. This little gadget is exactly what I’ve been looking for all my sewing life. Not only does it thread needles, it has a light so that it’s possible to see thread and threading loop!
And: the loop is tucked back into the case, so it doesn’t get warped in storage.
And: the button is ridged, so it’s easy to use.
And: there’s a thread cutter on the side.
And: there’s a finger grip so the treader doesn’t slide in use.
And: there’s even a small loop to insert a thin lanyard, in case one wants to wear it. Or add it to a modern chatelaine.
Mine is getting a workout. So far, I couldn’t be more pleased!
after reading your review I ordered a couple of these, one for each project box. They work beautifully! Thanks for the review.
